Arrived before the 3pm check in and quite expected to have to wait for room but it was all ready for us.Enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the sunshine having lunch and then afternoon tea. Had booked this hotel as was going to Wembley Arena and found it only a 6 mile drive away and easy to get back and forth. Thought the rooms very comfortable and liked the little touches of the beds turned down and as it was Easter a chocolate bunny left for us. There was a good choice for breakfast and the service was excellend. Have to admit after reading some of the reviews was a bit dubious about what to expect but I had no complaints and would use the hotel again.
A lovely venue for my son's wedding
decor matched the building. a good mixture of modern minimalism and comfort. breakfast was delightful with an excellent choice of dishes. we will certainly be staying again.
The hotel is a classic, in style and decor. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was superb
I wish the tube station was a little closer, but one can't have everything.
We enjoyed the friendly atsmophere and the spacious rooms and service , tea was offered as our room was not ready. Also good value.
There was no draught beer or lager in the bar which was dissapointing, that is the only comment.
All fine, but it is a bit too expensive for regular business use. If it was £15-20 cheaper, we would use it a lot more regularly.
County feel in a London suburb, with helpful staff.
Food, cleaniness were excellent, staff were very helpful.
While I was using the internet in the hall area down stairs, all we could hear was someone presumably the chef screaming at staff in the kitchen. Nobody should be spoken to in that manner.
I throughly enjoyed my stay with you and will definately book with you again. My boxes of ticks in my points about you are the whole truth. Please continue your excellents jobs.Thankyou agian.Mrs Waugh
Your pillows coulld be a bit softer.Thanks.
The breakfast was great, rooms very comfortable and well equiped. Great shower and bath - excellent service throughout the hotel from arrival to departure.
The staff were extremely attentive, polite and most welcoming. The hotel grounds were very well kept, as was the room in which my husband and I stayed. The food in the restaurant was exquisite. A thoroughly enjoyable visit!
Staff was always attentive and responsive to needs; Very beautiful hotel
Housekeeping did not thoroughly clean the rooms outside of making up the bed and changing the towels. Would have preferred if bed linens were changed and bathtub and sinks were thoroughly cleaned.
location and the hotel is a very beautiful building and the rooms are to a good standard
The staff were a mixture of being helpful above and beyond to not being very helpful or accomodating . Some personal touches eg the tv actually being able to move to different angles to watch would be good
We loved the comfort of the room and the luxury/comfort/size of the bed. The waiting staff at breakfast were very professional and welcoming.
One of the downsides of this hotel is the somewhat chaotic reception area. With two reception desks but not enough staff, it was unclear who in the 'queue' in the reception hall should be served next, leading to ugly queuejumping allegations! Local directions/information for guests could be improved - staff assumed correctly that we would be attending the concert at Wembley on arrival but there was nothing in hotel information to tell us how to get there. By asking at the tube station, we discovered a 24 hour bus (?83) running almost door to door - we would have expected more informed and helpul local knowledge from staff in this presigious hotel. The tube is a massive detour.
The hotel staff were extremely helpfull and couteous. We needed a taxi to Wembley stadium. The hotel arranged one a a very reasonable rate. The food was first rate (even the sandwiches that we had at 2 am). Will definately put this at the top of my list for future London visits.
